Barnsley Museums and Fusion, Barnsley’s Cultural Education Partnership have been creating a music video for Arthur Godfrey's A Barnsley Christmas Eve Carol.

Come back to this page from 7pm on Tuesday 10 December to watch this new video.

The short film will feature lots of young people, alongside local heritage groups and one of Arthur's poems read by Ian McMillan. The video will include a new version of the carol which we only discovered this time last year while using The Barnsley Chronicle to research the history of Barnsley town hall which opened in December 1933, the same month this carol was published.
