Background
The Worsbrough Voices oral history project was run by Worsbrough Library, with the support of Barnsley Archives and Local Studies, during July 2018. The aim was to capture reminiscences and memories of the area and its industries, by talking to local residents, principally those who had lived in the area all their lives. The interviewers were Kate Harper from Worsbrough Library and Allie Hunton. A selection of interviews are available to listen to along with the full transcripts to read.
